ANGEL FOOD UPDATE
To all of our friends that have been participating in Angel Food,
We will no longer be participating in Angel Food as of the January order period. To explain, we are both saddened and filled with joy over this decision. To say the least, it has been a hard decision to make. We are going to miss all of our friends each month and the time that we were able to spend together when you came by to order and to pick up your food.
We are also rejoicing that that the vast majority of our friends who have been ordering now have an Angel Food host site much closer to you than Oak City. Almost three years ago, when we started Angel Food in our community, we were one of just a few ministries that were offering such a tremendous benefit in the way of helping to stretch your food dollars. Over the years, we have watched seven new minsitries that have started participating in Angel Food as well.
What that means is that you most likely have an Angel food host site closer to your house. This means you will be able to save on gas each month now as you go to pick up your food. One of our goals was to help people stretch their money. You can save even more money with the savings of your gas money as well. At the bottom of the page, we are listing the host sites that many of you will be able to use. We want you to rest assured that each host site listed will treat you with the same love, care and appreciation that we have and we know you’ll be in the best of hands.
As time goes, we hope to remain close with all of you and look forward to coninuing our relationship with each of you as we move forward in ministry and find new ways to serve you. May God bless you all in your lives and we hope you’ll remain in contact and let us know how your doing.
